Inspired #2

You should all go and pick up anything by Shelly O’Reilly.
A great Melbourne Author, who’s short stories and words have been another great inspiration for this project. In particular the way she writes about the world, is the way in which I envisage it.
I only recently happened to pick up some of her stories and was amazed.
It was like she got me, and seen what I see in the world.

The world looks more beautiful when I am under the influence of the most severe type of hangover. The silvery mountain of my pretty hushed city glitters like a fiarytale castle and every curtain and every window holds a warm and lustrous world. An unknown world, the warm and lustrous world of the protected, the sane, the loved. The world is very beautiful with some hangovers, and so am I because I am more than ever before.
-The Transcendental Hangover
by Shelley O’Reilly

It’s nice to feel like somebody out there understands, that there is beauty, and thought in the smaller things in life, the old saying ‘of stoping to smell the roses’ rings true.
This project is about feeling the smaller things in relation to the bigger picture. As human beings we tend to see an object as a whole rather than the details, I want to bring it back to the details.
